Some kids are attracted to the Internet mostly because their parents oppose their online presence. I know at least a few kids who would do anything to make their parents angry and who would visit the Internet despite the fact that they are not supposed to do so. Of course, I do not approve of such behavior, but kids are just kids and I guess not that much can be done about it. Their parents need to learn how to cope with the problem and they need to realize what steps they need to take in order to have bigger control over everything their children do when spending time online.
