I have a few nieces and nephews I care about very much. Every time they come to visit me in my house, the place becomes completely different than it normally is when they are not here. When they are gone, I usually miss them. They love to play with each other and they always come up with all sorts of activities to keep them busy at home.

I have never told their parents my honest opinion, but I believe that the kids do not spend enough time outdoors. They like to play indoors, but not so much outdoors. In my opinion, playing indoors or outdoors can make a huge difference as it is so much healthier for kids to play outdoors.

I believe that my nieces and nephews are perfect candidates for participants camps such as the camps presented on www.chateaugay.com. I can already picture how much fun they could have with other kids while playing outdoors. My family has been homeschooling their kids for many years. Our kids do not get to spend a lot of time with our children. I believe that summer camps would give them an opportunity to do so. Spending time with other children would definitely benefit them as they could learn so many things from other children their age.

I am still hoping that my family is going to take advantage of the possibility that taking part in the camp can give them. There is a huge difference between spending time in the forest or near a lake rather than spending it at home playing computer games or even playing on the floor in the dining room. I am aware of the fact that more and more kids in the US spend their summers playing computer games rather than hanging out outdoors playing soccer or football. When I was a kid, I used to spend every spare minute outdoors unless I had some other activities to attend. I hope that computer gaming is not going to ruin the way my family spend its free time.
